SVHS ends season with 14 - 28 loss, 2009 record is 6 - 4

The Shades Valley Mounties ended their season Friday night with a 14 - 28 loss to the Rebels of Vestavia Hills, but they end 2009 as winners.

In this video interview, Head Coach, Curtis Coleman, talks about his overall impression of Vestavia Hills and how SVHS matched up, as well as impression of this 2009 team.

Pending unforseen forfeits by Region 7 playoff teams, this was the final game of the season for the Mounties, who ended the season with a record of 6-4.

6 wins come home to SVHS with 34-0 game, travel to Vestavia next

The festivities planned for last Friday night's Homecoming and Senior Night at Shades Valley High School were topped off with an impressive 34-0 Mountie win over the Pinson Valley Indians.

This sixth victory secures a winning season for the Mounties, which SVHS hasn't had since 2000 and was their first shut out of a team since 2004. The Mounties are now 4 - 3 in Region 7 play.
