A Chocolatey Production at IMS
Monday, February 22, 2010 at 3:16PM If your student attends Irondale Middle School, you probably already know about the "delicious" production in the works for March. If you don't know what we're talking about, this is the first in a series of posts that will introduce you to some of the very special kids in Irondale.
Oh, and by the way, mark your calendar now for March 8 & 9, 2010.
We begin with a portion (edited for length) of a press release written by 8th grader, Julius Hammie:
IRONDALE, Ala. --Irondale Middle School in Irondale, Alabama has been working on a most magnificent production. A truly taste-bud tingling play, it is the best thing since the invention of candy. I’m talking about the Willy Wonka, Jr.premiere happening on March 8 and 9 at Shades Valley High School Theater. This production will start promptly at 7:00 p.m. Every person attending will be able to buy their tickets at the door. The cost of adults is $4 and $3 for students. The fourth period classes of Mrs. Fason, Mrs. Krebs, and Mrs. Jacks have been working very hard to bring this production to the public.
This will be a great production, so please come and enjoy the show.
Willy Wonka Jr. will be on WZZK at 10:00 a.m. and on ABC 33/40 this Thursday, February 25 sometime in the morning. Tune in or set your DVR!
And stay tuned here as we introduce you to these students and their hard work between now and the production next month.
