Santa's 2007 Visit - Photo by Bo ReynoldsTell all the children! Santa will make his annual visit to Irondale, AL in the Christmas Parade this Saturday, December 12, at 11:00 a.m.
The parade will follow its traditional route, beginning at Irondale Community School, traveling out to Crestwood Boulevard, and back down 20th Street to City Hall.
What's different this year is the addition of three observation posts, where the parade will pause to perform and allow photos.
Those locations are (1) in front of Hamburger Heaven, (2) the parking lot next door to the First United Methodist Church, and (3) in front of Studio by the Tracks.
This year's parade will include the award-winning SVHS Mountie Marching Band, Shades Valley's 2009 Homecoming Court, the Zamora Temple clowns and fun cars, youth sports athletes, church groups, a horse-drawn wagon, and ... well, you just need to be there to see it all!
Organizers have an "Old Fashioned Christmas" planned for you do
