SVHS Winter Guard takes top honors at Tennessee competition

The SVHS Varsity Winter Guard was ranked first in the Scholastic AA division at the Color Guard Field Day competition this past weekend in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. 

Seniors with trophy - Brandeis Burns, Allison Truitt, Jennifer May, Anastasia Turner, Alaina Krell, and Rebecca EasterwoodThe JV Winter Guard was ranked second in the Novice Division.  This was an SCGC (Southeastern Color Guard Circuit) event. 

This is the initial scoring for the season and all future competitions will be scored based upon improvement from this weekend's showcase.  Results can be viewed on the SCGC site
